'Where Are They?', 2007.

This work was an interpretation of the token left by mothers to their children displayed in the Foundling Museum.  Some tokens were replicated from the museum collection, and others were made to depict the modern separation of mothers and their children as a result of totalitarian states or conflict.

The Tokens were attached to hundreds of lengths of plaited hair hanging from the ceiling to the floor using safety pins.  Also some Tokens were left in halves for visitors to find matching tokens and hang with other halves.
